In a significant development in the nation’s first cryptocurrency case involving approximately 6,600 crores, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) team conducted a raid at the residence of accused Simpi Bharadwaj’s father in Sector-2, Bahadurgarh. The ongoing interrogation, surpassing 24 hours, includes scrutiny of all documents within the premises.

Simpi Bharadwaj and her husband, Ajay Bharadwaj, face accusations of amassing around 6,600 crores through a Ponzi scheme related to Gain Bitcoin. While Simpi is currently under ED custody, Ajay remains outside police custody. The extensive questioning of Simpi’s relatives continues, with tight security restricting their movements.

Sources reveal that the ED team has obtained crucial documents from Simpi’s father’s residence. However, officials present at the scene refrain from making statements. The prolonged investigation aims to uncover the full extent of the case after thorough examination and questioning.
