Hero has officially unveiled the Xtreme 125R following a recent image leak, setting its prices between Rs 95,000-99,500. This commuter bike stands out in the 125cc segment, boasting a premium and sporty design coupled with advanced features, including single-channel ABS (available on the top variant) and all-LED lighting.
Scheduled to hit showrooms starting February 20, the Xtreme 125R claims an impressive fuel efficiency of 66kpl. Under its sleek exterior, a newly introduced air-cooled, 125cc, single-cylinder engine powers the bike, delivering 11.5hp at 8,000rpm—making it one of the most powerful bikes in its class, surpassed only by the Bajaj Pulsar NS125.
The Xtreme 125R ensures a smooth ride with its all-new diamond frame, supported by a 37mm telescopic fork and a preload-adjustable Showa monoshock. Braking duties are handled by a 276mm front disc and a rear drum brake, further supplemented by single-channel ABS on the top variant.
This model comes in two variants – IBS (Rs 95,000) and ABS (Rs 99,500), positioning it competitively alongside the TVS Raider (Rs 95,219-1,02,770) and the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 (Rs 99,571). However, it commands a higher price than the Honda SP125 (Rs 86,017-90,017). Hero enthusiasts can expect the Xtreme 125R at dealerships across India starting February 20.
