In a daring operation, the Indian Navy rescued 23 Pakistani nationals from Somali pirates in the Arabian Sea, aboard the Iranian fishing vessel Al-Kambar. The crew, expressing gratitude, chanted ‘India Zindabad’ as they were protected from armed pirates by a specialist team from the Indian Navy. Promptly responding to reports of piracy, Indian Naval ships intercepted the hijacked vessel, ensuring the safety and seaworthiness of the crew. Prompt Response and Successful Rescue Upon receiving reports of a potential piracy incident involving the Iranian fishing vessel Al-Kambar, the Indian Navy swiftly deployed two Naval ships for maritime security operations. Intercepting the hijacked vessel approximately 90 nautical miles southwest of Socotra, the Navy successfully rescued the 23-member Pakistani crew and apprehended the armed pirates.
