Russia ‘s investigative body reveals the arrest of an additional suspect linked to the attack on the Moscow concert hall in suburban Moscow, which claimed 143 lives. The detainee allegedly participated in financing the attack, which involved gunmen shooting concertgoers and setting the venue ablaze.

Previously, 11 suspects, including four attackers identified as Tajik nationals, were apprehended and appeared in court on terrorism charges. Signs of severe beatings were evident during the court proceedings, raising concerns about their treatment.

While a faction of the Islamic State group claimed responsibility, Russian officials, led by President Vladimir Putin, have accused Ukraine and the West without evidence. The Investigative Committee alleges that significant amounts of money and cryptocurrency from Ukraine were used in preparing the attack.

Ukraine denies involvement, asserting that Russia is leveraging the allegation to escalate conflict. Health officials report about 70 individuals remain hospitalized, many in critical condition, highlighting the enduring impact of the tragedy.
